Fog at Duck Brook

I'm working with Alien Skin's Snap Art 3 program again today on this image of Duck Brook in Acadia National Park. On this particular day last fall, the weather was bad but the shooting was good. It was cold and wet which isn't unusual for that time of year in Maine. While trying to keep myself and my gear as dry as possible, I headed over to Duck Brook after swinging down a socked in Park Loop Road. Not surprisingly, it was just me and the resident beavers and they were smart enough to stay holed up inside their hutch. Color in Nature - Color Swatches

One of my goals for 2012 is to deepen my understanding of color theory as it pertains to the visual arts and the larger world of design. This is partially to help my clients meet their needs, whether that be cooridinating a print with colors in someone's home or on a grander scale working to incoorporate the decor artwork into the larger framework of hospitality project design. On a personal level, it's about how we live and how color can make us feel.My wife and I have an uncanny ability to pick colors that we mutually like.
